2010 Sicily

This was our third visit to the fishing harbour of Sciacca, we love this place with its old sector and the many pottery artisans, fantastic pastries with sweet ricotta fillings, and the Phoenician fishing village built on the slopes to the harbour. The harbour is well protected as seen from one of the largest fishing fleets in the Mediterranean that calls Sciacca its home. There is two marinas within the harbour we stayed at the Lega Navale di Sciacca for 20 euros per day including water and electricity, plus shower and laundry.
